new, good Pop Punk bands. Anything in the vein of old blink, old NFG, old Saves The Day. Anyone who lives in the past basically.

Teenage Bottlerocket
Against Me!
Latterman
Small Brown Bike <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Set Your Goals
Boys Night Out

You can never go wrong with old pop punk though. Screeching Weasel, The Descendents, and The Queers own.

I'm well into SYG and Descendents, I have heard good things about Small Brown Bike and Latterman I shall check them out.

I'm under the impression that Boys Night Out are kind of "scene," I shall check them out also.

Well so is NFG and STD. Get Trainwreck, it's a good album.

NFG and STD were part of the late 90's pop punk boom, before words like "emo" and "scene kid" were being tossed around. Their first recordings were also heavily influenced by melodic hardcore. This is why they don't suck(or at least, they didn't used to).

Saves the Day is still good aside from In Reverie, they have a new album dropping and the song from its really good. Stay What You Are and Through Being Cool are still the best though.
