Default Warped Tour

Warped Tour Discussion.

Here we can chat about Warped Tour, upcoming bands, bands we want tto be there, Warped Tour stories...and just discuss Warped Tour.

I attended my first Warped Tour last year (of 06) I had alot of fun. It was in the summer that I was first getting into real punk. So seeing bands like The Casualties (the last 5 mins), Bouncing Souls, NOFX, Joann Jett, and a few others, it was fun.

Im only 13, and while watching NOFX I was thrown into the moshpit...there were ****ing scary 7 foot tall muscily shirtless men above me, I was basicly sitting...It was scary...I was pulled out though. Thank God for that.

Does anyone agree with me that CROWDSURFING SUCCKS! It pisses me off, your enjoying a show, maybe dancing or whatever and then some dumbass gets thrown onto you! Errr...I don't wanna have to enjoy a show holding my damn hands above me the whole time. They just expect you to catch them! They deserve getting there shoes stripped and thrown and their wallets getting stolen.

...and now everyone continues discussion maybe?

I went last year. There were actually quite a few bands I wanted to see: NOFX, Against Me!, Rise Against, Bouncing Souls, the Bled, Misery Signals. I also stopped by Thursday, because Full Collapse is an amazing record, but all but one song I saw was from their newer, bad CDs. And that song was "Understanding in a Car Crash," one of my least favorites off of Full Collapse. Oh, I guess they also did "Jet Black New Year," which is pretty good.

I was only starting to get into hardcore last summer, so I didn't know about some of the other good bands playing, like Protest the Hero, Alexisonfire, HORSE the Band, Everytime I Die. I really missed out. Probably one of the better Warped lineups for awhile (if you like hardcore), since usually they have a lot of ****ty bands.

This year the only bands I want to see are Bad Religion and Big D and The Kids Table. I wouldn't mind seeing Tiger Army or the Unseen, but I'm not a huge fan of either band. So I probably won't be going.

Any bands I'd want to see are missing Vancouver. Dissapointed. Also the line-up in general is boring.

Crowd surfing is lame, it's fun to dig people in the back as the go over you.

What do you mean dig people in the back? Who is River City Rebels?

I wanna get a Big D and the Kids Table cd, I like what little I have heard off of my couzin's mix cds. I have heard little of Tiger Army, thoigh I want to.
I like the Unseen. I have heard little of Bad Religion.

Yeah, so far it seems last years lineup was hell of alot better. Too bad I wasnt as in to them bands as I am now.

Crowdsurfers don't "deserve to have their shoes/wallets stolen". I have friends that love crowdsurfing, and though I don't like crowdsurfing myself I'll help them get up in the first place. It's just a fun thing to do, like moshing. It's really not that hard just to put your hands up and help someone stay on top.
