It is true, I promise. My mom is in employment law, causing me to be really annoyingly knowledgeable about **** like this.

And the company your brother works for has B.F.O.Q. That's why they haven't gotten crap about it, and Snickers is right as well, most aren't aware of agencies like the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and it's pertaining laws.

Have none of you guys read the fair emplyment statement that is on pretty much every job application? I don't think it covers mohawks, though, unless you somehow claim its part of your creed.

I got my mohawk while I had a job, and my boss thought it was cool. She wanted me to dye it. I wouldn't want to work for someone who is such a tightass that they won't let employees make their own personal life choices.

And I still maintain that if you want to get a mohawk just because you like them then you are not conforming. If you want to get one to look punk then you are. If you don't get one because people on an online forum are telling you that you will be conforming if you do, then you are conforming.

I have, and I know it doesn't cover mohawks, but there have been hundreds of cases where it is claimed as part of some creed (and Mohawks usually win). I just was under the assumption that one would lie and say it was part of their creed to avoid the rule.

Why dont you just do it without her permission? I mean doesnt a mohawk symbolize being a rebel? If you were a real rebel you'd have one by now!!! Jeez..grow a set and get the dang hawk!

Im not looking for a job as of right now, even if I was Im not gonna let some ******* boss dictate my life for me. I never said...err never mind. I don't appreciate the words being shoved down my throat. And poster above me, Bert, Id rather have hair, than have a one day mohawk and get it shaved the next day.
And, Alexander the Grape pretty much sums everything I would have said.

Alot of you people that have posted, have assumed a whole bucket load of ****.

I wanted a mohawk, they look cool, couldnt get one. I was wondering if anyone knew another cool haircut...but anyways.

If you consider your boss telling you to get a haircut dictating your life you have a pretty pathetic life.
