There are a few punk bands that I do like , all of these are old bands I grew up listening to.But I only like them because I like those bands , I don`t like them ibecause they are punk bands....see? I do like some bands , but i`m not a fan of 'punk rock' as such. Pretty much all of the punk bands I do like either split up or changed direction by the early 80s , and in my mind everything that came after was a poor copy of the original & not worth listening to.Quite honestly the thought of listening to some band with a guy with a mohawk shouting over some 3 chord racket does not interest me in the least. These days i`m more likely to listen to a Talking Heads or a Public Image LTD album than the Sex Pistols or the Ramones.

sex pistols or ramones..... :-|
anyway, so what if a band splits up? cant you still enjoy their music? i think its best bands split up, then they dont have the chance to completely sell out and soil everything (or mellow in old age *titters*), obviously this isnt the case with all bands ;-) and id hate to stereotype punk as being 3 chords....obviously a connesiuer like yourself can thou, after all why go against the grain |

I wanted to tear my teeth out. I didn't know what I wanted to do. And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it. I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that. |

thats ****ed up. violence in (almost) any case is horribly wrong.
i can almost see why straight edge kids think the way they do regarding drugs and alchohol. at any rate, the jock ******* who hit him should have been locked away for a long, long time. but then again, im pretty biased.
