this band is getting quite big over here and many are calling them the best british punk band in 20 years (not too difficult i say), i saw them last night and i have to say, what (IMO) they lack musically, they put on perhaps the best performance ive seen for a while. It was insane. What are peoples thoughts on them?

i dont quite understand where the hype is coming from.

i like them, its great to see a british band doing well and they work REALLY hard, but the album is pretty average IMO. i can imagine them good live... but they don't seem to me like anything special.

pistols were nothing special, they got big on their live shows and image. Not saying the gallows are on the same level as the pistols, but they have the same thing going on... just downscaled.

I quite like the guitar work, but not overly keen on the vocals. The singers voice is slightly harsh for my liking

awful band. seem to be a bit over-hyped (to say the least)

Just got hold of Orchestra Of Wolves. Jackhammer is liking this a lot. Nice bit of old skool punk rock happening in some tracks.

Very over-hyped, so many better UK punk bands.

In case you want examples

The Steal
The Legacy
The Sword
Short Warning
