The Sonics (punk, rock, cover, quote, 60s)

I know many of you bantarians know this band anyway, but lets havea thread of apprecision devoted to them. My favourite proto-punk band after the stooges. excellent 60s garage rock. Alot will have heard 'have love will travel' in that bloody car advert but i think the essential starter songs for those not familiar are:

Psycho
Jenny Jenny
Shot Down
Do You Love Me
The Hustler

i know..i have heard of them, just not their music. Theres too many bands from the past i need to look up, partly the reason i joined here.

You guys should also look into the German Garage band the monks they kick so much ass its disgusting. The Monks - Black Monk Time.rar Check it out you won't be disapointed.

I have the sonics' first album, it's great. Their cover of Have Love Will Travel is electrifying.
