Which Bad Religion record should I get first?
i've been downloading, burning and listening to them with friends, but haven't bought a CD yet. recently i decided to go old school and not download anymore. CDs have an intrinsic value to the music you can't take away. so in choosing which CD i'll get first, i've narrowed down my choices: against the grain, generator, or all ages. which one do you suggest as best? :hphones:

or possibly the empire strikes first, but it sounds like a polished radio record from what i've heard. i love all the MP3s or theirs i have.
|
how could hell be any worse or 80-85 because it's their only good record. the rest are decent to mediocre, and the ones you mentioned are probably their worst.
|
thats your opinion. its punk rock, so you are quite welcome to it. however, i don't agree with you. bad religion is one of the worlds most original bands, and they hold up both in the punk/hardcore scenes and in the rock/pop area.

How would you know if you've never even heard an album?
And they're not original they kept the same sound for like what, 20 years? |
lol @ blandlyness
worst pop punk evar |
^Uh, good lyrics, good music, how are they the worst pop-punk band ever? I wouldn't really consider them pop-punk either, way too heavy sounding. I wouldn't put them alongside the ramones and queers.

Its punk, the genre isn't exactly bursting with creative and unique bands in most of the sub-genres. |
