I strongly think punk is still alive, you obviously haven't listened to bands like Leftovr Crack and CHoking Victim.

And you're using the term punk to describe someone as a person and not as a type of music when everyone here is talking about punk music.

If you've ever eard of Stza Crack he lives a Crust Punk lifestyle, doing hard drugs and squatting (taking over abonded buildings for large groups to live in) If you were to listen to his music you'd be able to see he doesn't play crust punk so just because of the wa he chooses to live shouldn't chracterise the style of music he plays.

You don't have to be angry and pissed off and protest stuff to be punk.

And my Bad Brains comment was most certainly not a cheap shot in any way and you saying that they are as punk as it gets doesn't justify it being a cheap shot in anyway. Whenever you don't have anything valid to say back to a comment doesn't make it a cheap shot.

And stuff playing at vans warped tour isn't the only punk there is today.

There's nothing wrong with that kid liking a fall out boy song.
