10. The Queers (come on, what's not to like?) 9. The Groovie Ghoulies (playing in my town next month! can't wait!) 8. The Sex Pistols (classic, rock the f*ck on vicious! haha) 7. The Ramones (i know, everyone likes them, but they still freakin rock!) 6. Rancid (you just can't not love his voice...) 5. Screeching Weasel (not a lot of people know these guys, but you should!) 4. Teenage Rehab (local band... keep an eye out for 'em!) 3. Lower Class Brats (I haven't heard much of them, but what i do know rocks my socks off!) 2. Anti-Flag (god they're so great, and their songs are soooo fun to play!) 1. The Descendents (i mean, how can you not be reeking of sheer awesomeness if you can write song after song about a girl, and still rock!?) well, that's my list, it was tough, but there it is. btw, im 15 from paducah, kentucky |

My list is baisically written on the premis of giving credit to some of the originators, and most influencial artisits in punk. Not all bands are "punk" per se, but pioneers and influences for the music.
