rancid dropkick murphys (w/mike) discipline clash brassknuckle boys nofx ****sparrer offspring real mckenzies swingin utters i know some of these bands aren't "classic" punk rock and this list will probably change 3 times for me before tomorrow, its just what i'm into right now 23 from indiana

NOFX is kind of generic nowadays, Punk In Drublic was a good album but eveven when they released their first album in 1988 it really wasn't anything to extraordinary. Same thing for the Offspring, nothing that Screeching Weasel wasn't already doing. Rancid kind of sucks. Operation Ivy is probably 10 time sbetter than Rancid ever will be and Operation Ivy had much more impact on the punk scene than Rancid did. I don't think I'd even put Rancid in a top ten Ska-Punk list. I really don't know much about the other bands you mentioned to argue about them so I should probably reiterate what I previously stated about how I didn't agree with any of them, maybe some of the ones I'm not farmilar with are top ten material. |
