I was listening to Enema the other day, and I noticed even that CD is a lot harder than takoff...there are some great songs on there, like dumpweed...I haven't found that kinda sound too much on the new one..but its still good.

They sound a bit monotonous for me but I still hold my respect for them because they were one of the first few bands to get me into rock.

I think they are funny and do their thing. I dont think they are really punk per say. They are pop punk i guess u could classify it like. Its like avril lavigne, there was this idea that she was "punk". Then again, punk is used to describe a lot nowadays. A lot of music starts out without a classification and they find them selves be classified under one genre.

one song I like off their new album is all of this, they have roberts smith from the cure doing the vocals, and i just love the song.

^ i agree with i miss you.
ehh i wasnt too impressed with their latest album, the one song i liked was i miss you. Other than that i like them as a band. I wouldnt classify them as punk or anything, just a band that plays some fun music. I was really into their earlier stuff ( budda, chesher cat etc.) and i think you got to give them credit for getting alot of kids into some punk-rock ( even if they arent themselves)

Mmyes. I didn't like "Feeling This". It didn't give a very clear indication that their style matured. And well, I just found it weird.

I have NO respect for them whatsoever. Monotous on the lyrics side especially. And they have NOT improved, they startedout ok, and never got better, the "solo" in dammit, and the crap that is their newest album, and their downright stupidy because of their belief that punk is just a "fad" that they're to mature for now, makes me wanna steal 3 copies of their newest cd and go shove it up their @sses.
