We went back there and they had come and hacked off every inoculated arm. There they were in a pile. A pile of little arms. And I remember... I... I... I cried. I wept like some grandmother. I wanted to tear my teeth out. I didn't know what I wanted to do. And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it. I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that. |

I grew up with them. Chershire Cat, Dude Ranch, Enema all pretty juvenile like me in my teens, then they started to become more musical and care more for the lyrics and musical content, just as my music taste began to grow up, they grew up too. I loved them in the olden days when they didn't take themselves too seriously and stayed fun, and I still enjoy them now that they are more grown up. Altho Angels and Airwaves very over rated. Can't wait to hear more of Plus 44, Mark will always be god to me.

Check out this new bit of music classification tech. Pop-punk. Its a style of pop music that draws influence from punk genres. I think they fall somewhere in there.
I dislike them, but I could understand the appeal. |

I went through a little "I'm so punk" phase my freshman year of high school. Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, Blink 182.........I'm glad I got over that.
So at one point I loved them, still enjoy them, and +44 is the dumbest **** ever.

Why do ppl say they 'loved them when they were younger but now hate them'? If you enjoyed their music then, whats changed? Just because you might meet a new group of friends who say Blink 182 are rubbish, doesn't mean you have to change your mind. If you like them, you like them. Same goes for any other band, who is anyone else to dictate it to you??
We're supposed to be 'alternative' and 'rebellious' I'm not following anyone else. xxx |
