They made it over a year ago. It has all of the music videos, and a cool documentary on the band. But there's only four live videos, when it advertises more.

Rise Against (Official Thread)
I was surprised to see that there wasn't already a thread for these guys. They're a great band and I always try to check them out whenever they come through my area. What's your favorite song/album? Do you love or hate them? Discuss...

As wth most modern punk bands, I like them a little less each album, but they do add something new each time out. I kinda favored the older screaming days a little more, but even then, RA made great hooks, and they still do, in fact have gotten even better in that regard.
I don't feel like they are terribly skilled musicians, but that's the way good punk should be imo anyways. The video for "Ready to Fall" is one of the most sickening, awesome videos ever. I didn't eat meat for a week after seeing it. |

I agree with you Phillyboy, I like them a little less with each album. Except I like the first two equally, their best ones. I haven't even heard the latest, but don't need to. Not that I think it probably sucks or anything, just that their sound gets a bit more commercial each time. It's not even necessarily them changing, but the mainstream changing to accommodate certain artists that break in, including RA.

Not a huge fan of these guys, but I do have the albums "Siren Song of the Counter Culture" and "The Sufferer and the Witness", and I liked quite a few songs from them.
Today on the radio I heard a new song by them, don't remember the name of it, but it didn't even sound the same. The singer sounded alot more polished than I remember...is it a different guy or is the music just more produced?
