I havn't really ever given The Unravelling a proper listen.. But I do know that My Life Inside Your Heart was a great song. Lately I've been obsessed with Blood to Bleed, Paper Wings, Life Less Frightening and Torches. Blood to Bleed had awesome lyrics IMO

Ready To Fall is pretty good. I love Rumors Of My Demise. Tip The Scales, To Them The Streets Belong...Anywhere But Here. Faint Resemblance, Gethsemane.

rumors of my demise helped me through a really hard time. but i still like their older stuff. sit down next to your stereo, lyrics booklet in hand, and follow along with "Revolutions Per Minute" and you'll see what i mean. and yeah, i love that riff at the beginning of "Torches". and Rise Against are friends with AFI. is old AFI any good?

But in all honesty, the similarities between Rise Against and AFI is fairly slim. If you want bands like RA, check out Strike Anywhere, Bad Religion and try a bit of Ignite. |
