well since were not talking about just 'punk' i'd have to give stu hamm my vote for one of the best bassists in the world, but the bassist for the used is pretty good too.

Well if we arent talking just punk, id have to say Les Claypool.

In terms of punk bassists hmmm not to sure..... John Richie (Sid Vicious) maybe :P

Erm that's what eq's are for and distortion pads and maybe you should do something that isnt stereotypically punk, much better to have your own unique sound.

the bassist from coheed and cambria, is definetly a good bass player too, but he's not really "punk" either
