Who the hell cares what people wear. I know punks that dress punk and I know punks that don't. This also goes for my friends that listen to metal and hardcore.
If people want to look metal, punk, emo and hardcore let them do as they please. Lax, you need to get a life and stop getting mad at what people wear. |
lol wtf are u talking about u ginormous bag of douche. i was the one who said concentrate on urselves. i dont give a sh*t if you go to school in a robe and a cowboy hat. wow.. just wow.

Didn't anyone see SLC Punk? To be punk, you have to go around beating sh*t up and acting angry, standing up for anarchy and of course.... be mormon.

in my area ska kids do the shirt and tie, and all the super bad-ass punk kids dress in all black and don't take showers. i think they call it "non conformity"
|
I don't really care that much about a "punk" style.. but I will admit it's depressing walking into the mall and seeing 11 year olds wearing tank tops with "PUNK" plastered all over it. I think just looking at clothes you can really tell who is pop punk and who is punk.
pop punk has the black t-shirts with tan cargo shorts. Black must be punk rock man. the more crusty punk has a bunch of colorful plaid and too many belts. I think the fashion of the scene is depressing. We should all go naked. |
it comes down to this
punk is a music genre, not a fashion. people cant handle that and there is a huge identity crisis in "pop culture", people like avril lavigne and good charollette dress in this "punk rock" manner but play music that is nothing but watered down mtv slop. no one is hardcore no one is emo no one is punk these are things you put in your cd player, not things you put on your body |
