punk is dead. punk is just a clothing style. its a bunch of drunk, pist at there parents didnt buy them a car, tallentless musicians. its sad really. punk is know owned by the industry and corperate america. **** punk.

Punk's not dead, the scene here is awesome and theres still punk bands out today another thing, how can a genre of music die?

Georgia never quite had a scene, so it is doing as good as it was a while ago. Probably better, although Flordia is producing some good bands as of late.

The localized anarcho and crust stuff is still pretty strong. A lot of fans including these musicians are still stuck talking about the same 80s hardcore punk bands, and uh, I have no problem beating that to death another few more decades.
