My friend told me they have a new album out in August. I hope they tour it, I'd like to see them again.

I love bad religion. They're one of those bands that are able to somehow make music that is compelling, unique, tightly "put together" (for lack of a better description), yet without sounding contrived. They're a band who's albums I can listen to back to back without seeming like i've heard the same thing over and over, which unfortunately, is quite rare.

yeah, they've got a new album out in june!!! i'm really looking forward to this one, considering that the drummer stated that the songwriting is less political and more of the human nature, against the grain type stuff. not that i didn't enjoy the last one though! and they've been around 27 years now. what does that make them, the longest-lived band in punk?

**** Sparrer is still around, so, no. I love these guys. It's too bad though, I love their political stuff. I like mixes of both types, which is more what Against The Grain was.

Bad Religion

Any Bad Religion fans? I just recently got into them. I'm not a huge Punk fan, but i love this band for some reason.

Does it have anything to do with the fact that Greg Graffin is a ****ing genius? Not to credit him for all the band's success, but he is brilliant. Did you know he has a PhD in zoology and teaches at UCLA?

When it comes to the punk genre, I think Bad Religion (their newer stuff, anyway) is a little lighter in sound than say, The Misfits or DK, but that doesn't mean they're not raw and lively. I heard they put on a great live show. Not only that, but they've some really powerful lyrics.
