Default Bleed the Dream

So what'cha boy/girls think of these fellers? Just another emo band with the same lame **** or do actually like them in atleast ONE attribute of their skills? Eh.

My opinion:

The vocalist sounds more of rock than emocore so I don't know what genre they're specifically under but punk seems to be the best. Brandon, the vocals, is pretty good to me and is inspirational, and the backup singer is awesome, too. They're accoustic album "Awake" is awesome with their combined skills of his rocky voice and Kieth's gitty skills.

And the reason of making this thread: becuase I'm bored and need to argue with some I-think-I-know-good-taste people.

You're completely wrong on genres, I mean you consider emo and emocore to be different things...and I can't stand 'em.

Hmm... I know what you mean by it's hard to listen to them over and over again. They're not my favourite band or anything, but I do like them alot. I don't know why people say they can't stand them without a reason. It seems like they're only scared to express why. . . . Besides, I believe they're emocore/hardcore.

there not a bad band.. there actually very good in my opinion, but with the type of music i listen to many of the bands start to sound a lot like.. with the punk/screamo-emo influences.. but bleed the dream just dried up along with a few other bands that used to really like.. i listen to them come time to time but sometimes on a mixed cd i find myself skipping there songs just cause well there so easy to get sick of. the crappy part about getting sick of there songs is there actually really good too. the lead singer has a really cool voice, and to me the lyrics are really good aswell, its ashame really i wish i couldn't get sick of them so easy like.

Scared to express why? How about the fact they play generic, cliche, typical, bland etc.. music and they aren't emocore/hardcore.

Hey Ethan! I have a great idea.
How about, you go buy a shotgun, and kill the kid because he got a genre wrong! Sounds like a good idea right? I knew you would like it.
