The Fall are now probably my favourite Post-Punk band. They're so unique, there is nothing like it. They have loads of great albums but for me Hex Induction Hour is by far the best. The album hasn't a bad track and the lyrics are consistently great all the way through.

I went to see them last year. I payed £20 and they played for one hour. Never again.
Im far, far, far from an obsessive fan. A lot of people pretty much worship at the feet of Mark E. Smith but personally I don't see what the fuss is about. I do like quite a few of their singles though. That 50,000 Fall Fans Can't Be Wrong compilation is pretty great. |

One of my favourite bands for sure - I have most of their albums, have seen them live many times over the years and I'll be seeing them again in June.
If you're new to the Fall, a good place to start listening is their 6 cd Peel Sessions collection. I put up a list of recommended stuff on Amazon a few years ago which I updated quite recently - see HERE.... |
