theres such a wide variety of punk, what style of music would you be looking for? up beat catchy tunes? fast as ****-in your face-anti everything tunes? heavy growling make your ears bleeding tunes? theres so much out there depending on what you are looking for. If you get ahold of the wrong style of punk, dont expect all of it to sound that way. Sublime/reggaeish/booty shakin - definetly Op Ivy, also might wanna check out some Against All Authority, Citizen Fish, The Clash, and maybe some Tsunami Bomb or Tilt.

Screeching weasle, Moral crux, Lawrence arms, The queers, and buzz****s are all bands you might dig.

Im 12 years old and i have plenny of albums my parents dont want me to have,f'uck that!!i buy em anyway.

cilly_vanilly 01-01-2006 07:00 AM

dus it really matter wether music has swearing in it or not? if its got it like every second word then i spose thats a lil more serious, but every now and again? wats the big deal? "swear words" are becoming a part of every day language now, theyre not even really considered massivly bad anymore... spose parents can still b a lil old fashioned wen it comes 2 swearing, but at the end of the day...its just a word, n its ur choice wether it offends u or not.
