Strung Out are bloody awesome and they are diffinatly punk, way more punk then Blink if u can call them punk they are majorly 'Pop Punk', but dont get me wrong Blink are still awesome, after seeing them live for the first time last night, they are so rad!!!

But Strung Out man, how can u not think they are not Punk, I thought you had awesome taste in music considering you love Thrice.
