Thumbs up

Ok, not sure what everyone is into but I know a great band.....Dystopia. It is more like hard core death meatal punk type stuff. I highly doubt any of you kids would like it but I thought I would mention them to see if anyone has heard of them. I saw them live in berkley like 6 years ago. It was the best show I have ever seen. How about:
~El Dopa?
~agents of satan?

Yo, dude, your trying too hard! Just go with the flow. But heres a list of some good punk bands.
Green Day; Alkaline Trio; Incubus; Blink 182; Sum 41; Sugarcult; the shins; Muse; New Found Glory; Weezer; Linkin Park; A.F.I.; the Ataris; Misfits; Hot Water; the hives; Rancid; Story of the Year; Three Doors Down; well, start with this and then go more hard core, like Skinny Puppy.

I think that would fall into the gothic/industrial catagory. What do you think?

some good punk bands are: Social Distortion, Black Flag, The Clash, Hellacopters, The Germs, Joy Divison, and Iggy Pop & the Stooges

If anyone thinks these bands suck then they're on crack and can't tell the difference between left and right! These are some of the greatest punk bands of all time!

Joy Division? Punk? Are we talking the same Joy Division as the indie misery mongers of the late 70's? They weren't punk, they became New Order for heaven's sake.

Yes, I'm listening to them right now in fact. They're a great band, but they were never punk, not in the slightest, they were far too experimental and exciting to be punk.
