Looking at the polling, I'm really surprised that Anarchy in The UK isn't doing better - always struck me as the original punk anthem - maybe that's a UK perspective, and I can understand why The Ramones would top the poll (God rest 'em)
And I'm a little surprised you nominated The DK's Landlord over Holiday in Cambodia or California Uber Alles too, now I think about it - I'd say they were their really anthemic numbers - still make the (now mostly white) hairs go up on the back of my neck and make me want to jump on the furniture. |
