and they suck why? Because you dont like them? They're great at playing their instruments, Davey can sing very well. and they suck?! I hate when people say bands suck when they play a rad guitar, and awesome drums. I know you have an opinion on this, but theres nothing "sucky"(as in, not good[instruments/voice/generally about the band]) about them, you just dont like them.

ok people. AFI is an amazing band. Davey Havok is the greatest person to crash land the planet. i basically love theyre old stuff a lot better than their new stuff. Davey has the most amazing vocals in the world. the only band that can compare to his amazing talent is Sparks Light the Friction. AFI's new stuff is also amazing, but its not all emo people. heres the overview on their albums.

Answer that and Stay Fashionable- basically punk hardcore with songs about mohawks and cereal. its awesome
Very Proud of Ya- punk hardcore with a whole lot of "f_ck off" and other sh!t that i really dont understand... equally awesome!
Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes- demonic hardcore. extremely talented, and a hella lot better than you (thats for sure lol)
Black Sails in the Sunset- a bit watered down hardcore and screamo. its basically about going out into the distance. thats why the album cover takes place on a dark ocean. the only emo-ish songs are GCIST and Clove Smoke Catharsis, which are awesome songs with much meaning. even multiple meaning.
Art of Drowning- these were the days of theyre emoness. but they show theyre true meaning with such power, it just takes hold of you. but not morningstar. that song belongs to Good Charlotte, even though morningstar has talent and Good Charlotte blows. Art of Drowning might be emo, but with lots of power, which pretty much cancels out the emo.
Sing the Sorrow- oh god. this is the cd where every one else needs to c0kk about. ok this cd is definitely emo, but the extreme power and force that they put into their strong and amazing music is just so amazing, it blows you all away. its incredible, its amazing, and the entire cd has a very scary hidden meaning. its wonderful sh!t and theres nothing anyone can do about it.

you know whats wrong with emoness haters? they only look for the emo sounds in music, then throw it away. they dont even bother to listen to the force and power within the music. if they did that, they'd probably love it. thats what you need to listen to in AFI, thats what you are missing out on. you people need the true understanding of the greatness in AFI. and if you still dont like it... go to AFI's old CD's. they are awesome. if you dont like that... you got no taste in music.

Besides, if you people want REAL emo, listen to Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, and Jimmy Eat World... then kill yourself. if you want bad vocals... listen to Coheed and Cambria. TERIBLE!! you all got pwned, hope you change your minds bout AFI good night.

actually a friend of mine, who is also an afi fan, searched for this on these boards, found it, and sent it to me. i had a great urge to write, so i joined. this is a cool place. i love music. but AFI is my favorite band... so ya, i replied with what i know bout ahfee.

one guy wrote that afi is the most emotionally challenged band in the world. people can be so stupid... the most emotionally challenged band is Good Charlotte... thats why nobody cares about them.

I love AFI not as much their recent stuff and the misfits cover was spetacular they should be a horror punk band

ive only been recently listening to them, they seem pretty good to me. their music has alot of variants.
im not debating your choice, just keen to see what makes u conclude that way.
