Listening to the new album now. It's not terrible. It's nothing mindblowing but it's not bad.

Black Sails and Art of Drowning are pretty much equally their best

I haven't listened to either of these albums in a number of years, but I'd agree with you. Sing the Sorrow was also good at the time, and was my introduction to the band. But when I got my hands on Black Sails and Art of Drowning I thought they were badass.

I started at Sing The Sorrow and only went forward with their albums. I don't think I went backwards to listen to their previous efforts.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Saw AFI Tuesday night.

Set-list, from what I remember:
Strength Through Wounding (so cool when 400 people join in on the chant)
This Celluoid Dream
The Leaving Song Part 2
Aurelia (new song, actually really dug it)
3 songs I didn't know
Girl's Not Grey
This Time Imperfect
Days of the Phoenix

They double encored but I didn't recognize it. When I saw them 3.5 years ago, it was Totalimmortal. The only let down was I didn't get to shout along to one of the best chorus' in music. Great show. Davey Havok is a ****ing god.

Edit: Found the set online. THE NIGHT AFTER US GOT MIDNIGHT SUN AND TOTALIMMORTAL. FICKLASDJIASDFKJDFGNJAWD

Strength Through Wounding
This Celluloid Dream
Aurelia
17 Crimes
Of Greetings and Goodbyes
Above the Bridge
The Leaving Song Pt. II
Greater Than 84
This Time Imperfect
Now the World
Snow Cats
Wester
The Days of the Phoenix
I Hope You Suffer
Silver and Cold
Girl's Not Grey
Encore:
The Face Beneath the Waves
Miss Murder
Double Encore: The Lost Souls
