how so? you confused me a little with the hot topic statement i got lost in the thought of paying too much for a belt and shirt.

Go to a punk forum and try and talk about the ramones everyones gonna make fun of them and called them boring stupid and lame.It happens all the time you get called an ass for liking the ramones and they're considered pop rock and most of the forums nowadays.

Really? As far as I was aware every little Hot Topic punk has their trendy circle name ramones shirt... I must really be out of it.

In any case, I don't dislike the Ramones, I just find Dead Kennedys and other punk bands to be more interesting.

They do but if your gonna diss them for that diss the misfits too infact diss the misfits more so considering most of the ramones are dead they didn't have alot of say as a band in it yet the misfits are all still around.

Mm never mind I just misread misfits' response.

It does bother me sometimes how much merch the Misfits pump out- especially considering that most people can't even name a Misfits song whereas almost everyone can go "oh yeah, i know Ramones- hey ho lets go!" You might confuse them if you say blitzkrieg bop, but nevertheless...

I guess it's just the skull thing.

^ it is the skull and with the ramones they can listen to it around their parents because everyone else isnt as nice sounding as the ramones those people are not punk. I will be the first one to admit that i am by no means a punk, i love the music and enjoy the feel of it but i'm just not a punk.
