i love both these bands and find it very hard to compare them, i remember when i was a kid, my boy and i watched sid and nancy like 50 times er some crazy stuff like that.

man..we got all broody. and i wore a padlock around my neck. blah blah blah. in my era i would have to say that i dug the pistols more. i was introduced to the ramones much later.
and man oh man oh man. i love me some ramones.

I love both of those bands, but the Sex Pistols are definitely better in my opinion. They have that raw punk sound that just can't be beat.
