Anti-Flag is not about preaching as some might think, they are more about informing anyone who is willing to listen about their idead and stuff..

Here's a thought; let's stop labeling music and fighting over what genre a certain band is, and start listening to whatever pleases our ears no matter what anyone thinks of it! ;)

Yet again I'm late in posting...

They aren't to talented musicaly. Andy Flag was a better bassist than #2... But "The Terror State" was a great cd, lyrically. Alot of they're messages are very one sided and biased. They claim to be very fair and unhateful, and yet they are very spiteful towards president Bush...I'm not for him at all, but sorta Hypcritical. I still like them alot, don't get me wrong...but they should be listened to with alert minds. They'll brainwash just like the Conservatives and Liberals they are so against will.

They don't really claim to be "unhatefull" (not hatefull). They are active in what they speak about and set out to change things they don't like. They definitly hate Bush and everything he stands for (dishonesty, trickery, religious, conservative) but they aren't going to be violent about it. They are about expressing their beliefs in a peaceful way: their music. Even if it may not be the most peaceful message. :-)

A New Kind of Army was a really good album. Lately though I tend to stay away from punk, especially politically driven punk because I'm sick of politics in general and wish to not think about it

^ Amen Brother.

I know its a good message but honestly there are only so many times you can sing about one same thing and make it not boring..

Yea they do sing mostle about politics, and not so much on their earlier albums, but now with everything going on in the world and them being a political punk band, I guess they feel the need to sing about how they feel, about everything that is going on anyway they are my favorite band, and I like pretty much all their albums... Die for the Government wasnt the greatest but I think it was awesome..

^agreed. Anti-Flag rocks out hard! I don't know about all that boring buisness, but to each is own, right? Anyway, they are on Warped Tour, so that is reason enough to go. Oh, and Moblize's avitar kicks ass.
