The Official Green Day Thread (dance, house, punk, favorite song)

okie doke, greenday to me are one of those bands that you'll happily listen to at a party when pissed and dance your ****ing face off to them, yet i would never listen to them on my own, purely becuase their songs have no real significance to me, i dont identify with anything they say, i dont have the impulse to go mad to their music when sober and alone, in fact, if greenday split up today i would be bothered in the slightest. they produce average, catchy pop-rock songs, nothing amazing about them, nothing hugely wrong with them- i dont understand the hype that surrounds them though.
