wow lol.... you are im guessing a fan of good riddance and pop rocks and american idiot..... no one who was a fan of their old sound (when they were actually punk) would talk like that about them. Green day WAS amazing.... now they are sellouts

meh, I love their old stuff, like it better than the newer stuff, but I still like the new CD. It's a completely different sound, but I'll still be in the mood to listen to it every once in a while.

Thats what I tell everyone that says they 'Love' Green day, the truth is they only love the Green day they hear on the radio or see on the tv, most of them haven't even got any of their old albums.

i thought they were the least bit ok, but now i lost all respect for them, which really wasn't that much, since their attempt to be all pollitical

I like all their stuff even if theve changed thier sound their still good.

people are making it sound like green day used to be punk and were/are so original. im sorry, but that is so wrong. green day sounds original because of billie's voice. and their old stuff is just as catchy and pop as anything else they've put out. all their albums in my opinion sounded slightly different, but they were all very melodic, they certainly did not sell out (what could they have sold out from?). and just cause they made like wut 3 songs where they're so-called political does not mean they are all of a sudden a political band- that is the biggest bull about the new album

Im not a fan of GD, nor do i own any of their albums, but I have to admit that back in the day, they used to play alot of shows with Filth and The Blatz. So, I give them some credit for that. But thats about where it ends for me.
