The Official Green Day Thread (dance, house, punk, favorite song)

i see where misfits is coming from, theres just too much green day, and it should be kept in the official green day thread. im sure most people are sick of hearing the debate, but if you have to say something, keep it in the green day thread.

EDIT: creepy, it happened immedatley afterwards....

ya know if you actualy have the time to read through alot of these threads from what i can tell people are just repeating themselves every 10 pages, and more so they're just repeating what you hear everywhere these days, what gets me is the song american idiot, and the fact that the popular image of a greenday fan (well in my head atleast) is of just that (an american idiot), oh the irony ey? i dont understand why this disasterous thread wasn't shut down at page 50???
who let this monstrosity of a thread continue?? the greenday fans are just
making idiots of themselves and half of the people in here left over are just saying the same old tired things, "greenday are not punk" that post right there ill bet money has been posted 100 times on every single music discussion board on the web. i mean god, idiots will be idiots, your convincing none of them that greenday are ****, so will you all just be quiet damn it!

Why should it be deleted. For your satisfaction? Despite what you all think, there are Green Day fans and you're going to have to learn to respect it. Everyone on this forum can trash and slam Green Day, in their opinion, and members are also just as capable to talk about how much they like them. There is no reason why this thread should be deleted.
In my opinion, Green Day is a phenominal band. Their old stuff, back to 1039 smoothed out slappy hours & insomniac & dookie, are great. As time went on, lyrically, they just blew their last few albums.
Just because you all want to be tough and say OH GREEN DAY SUCKS doesnt mean anything. You have to admit you own some kind of copy of dookie or some kind of song from it. That album was almost essential in every household in the early 90's.
You can sit here and trash Green Day as you well please, but the diffrence on opinons is not going to get this thread deleted.
