Have not listened but I have a feeling they have realized how much money they made off American idiot and are going to go as commercial as possible.
Don't hate them though.

The new single is horrible, but i shall reserve judgement until i've heard the album in full, although i dont hold much hope for it seeing as that one song sounds like an American Idiot reject.

I second that. I can't stand them now at all. They're too whining and commercial. I don't even think I can stand their old music anymore either.

Eh, I loved "American Idiot". Both 9-minute songs were awesome.
But the new single sounds like they're trying to be the Ramones....Ah well. I'm hoping its just the equivelant of the title track on the last album (meaning I skip over it and enjoy everything else).

Just gave it a listen. I don't think its AWFUL but its pretty bland. The chorus is very obnoxious and it sounds generic.
