Default best lyrics ever

Go ahead and try
Try to look me in the eye
but you'll never see inside
untill you realize...

Thing are trying to settle down
Just trying to figure out
Exactly what I'm about
If it's with or without you
I don't need your doubt in me

Chorus:

If you trying to turn me into someone else it's easy to see
I'm not down with that (I'm nobody's fool) I'm nobody's fool
If you trying to turn me into something else
I've seen it enough and I'm over that
(I'm nobody's fool) I'm nobody's fool

If you wanna bring me down... go ahead and try! go ahead and try!go ahead and try!

would you be laughin out load if i played to my own crowd

yeah i've got to agree.
Also, I hate to say this but Avril Levine embodies what, in my opinion is wrong with punk music today. Her music is not original and fits into the same mold as most other pop songs, about boys meeting girls, breaking up ect ect ect. All this would be fine IF SHE DIDN'T CONSIDER HERSELF PUNK! punk isn't just someone wearing slightly rockerish clothes, punk is a set of ideals, political and social. So having a little pop tart like her running around makes people think that she represents what punk is but she doesn't at all, so now we have all these people out there thinking they're punks, but they're the same as they were before, without any oroginal ideas, just wearing black. It pisses me off.
But i will say, i think she's got a great voice

meh, i can't stand her voice, or her for that matter. she acts like she's so origninal and above all the marketing ploys that other artists use, but the reality is that she's just as contrived as any boyband. but then again she's making a ****load of money so i doubt she gives a crap what anyone thinks of her. still doesn't make her less of a whiney, annoying little brat.

the new album seems like it will be just as hardcore as the hardest good charlotte or blink 182. she rocks harder than the goo goo dolls did on their best day.

Ha ha yeah i hope that was sarcasm....
"Lifestyles of the rich and famous"...real hardcore stuff...i mean they wear black, they must be hardcore. But anyways, she would be cool if she admitted she wasnt punk, straight up popness and lost the *** canadien look. You obviously are not familiar with the older Goo Goo Dolls. They used to be a punk band back in the day... you should check them out. Tore it up on the guitar? Yes, i witnessed the display of bar chords and simple tablature, it was great she came close to Teppei (Thrice) and Jimi Hendrix with her amazing skills. (Yeah that was sarcasm Jibber.) I saw that one video where she walked in the rain...HARDCORE!! Oh yeah, and when she smashed the guitar on the car...Seriously if shes breaking guitars she must ne hardcore!(Yeah that was sarcasm too Jibber.)

ha ha ha nice one.
But what's the matter with having a 'Canadian look'? What's wrong with Canadians?Canada's an awesome country and, last time I checked, we look just fine. Besides, the Canadian look really isn't distinguishable from the Americans.

Ha ha...I knew I'd catch heat from that one. It had nothing to do with Canada at all...I was just in a bad mood. Sorry if i offended you.
