Oh how woefully ignorant I have been. Piper at the gates of dawn is quite a interesting listen, coming from a fan of their 70's sound. Really captures the feel of 1960's Britain, which I like. I kind of wonder what it would have been like to watch pink floyd progress musically if I was living back then, kind of makes me realize just how much of a mind blow Dark Side of The Moon was I suppose.

Not that I am saying Dark Side isn't good, just I think some of the WHOA factor is missing now a days. The album is still a good listen though.
