Hey good sir, I am an unbiased stranger, but I, in fact, LOVE King Crimson!
Time for a rim-shot, what do you say?

It's about bloody time they get a thread, anyone else out there who acknowledges this great and underappreciated band?

The 50 Cent thread is up to 19 pages and this one hasn't even gotten a single reply yet.

King Crimson is waaaaaay over the heads of most of the posters here. In The Court Of The Crimson King is a monster. Their music is extremely technical and not very accessible truth be told. I'd guess that there are very few on this forum that could name you one song. Then again, I couldn't name one 50 Cent song. I guess we're even. Actually, we are likely smarter, better looking, and obviously have far better taste than most of these other peeps. :}

They are so low key!
I try and download their stuff (not stealing just taste testing )
and I can hardly find a thing. I have heard them before but only briefly, I liked.

All I've got is In the Court of the Crimson King, but I love it, 20th Century Schizoid Man is one of my favorite prog songs. I've thought about getting Larks Tongue in Aspic, but haven't gotten around to it. As for the five most technically skilled drummers in rock, you've got a solid list, especially if you mean in terms of complexity. However, for some straight up, old fashioned drum-busting, I'm a large fan of Bonham and the Moon.

Probably In the Court of the Crimson King, although I don't claim to know a ton about them. I think it's accepted as their classic.
