I HOPE that this is not true.
I'm one of those people that likes to say, music is about the
music only. I heard that Crimson King album when I was in high school (about 5 years ago...) and fell in love...
because of the pure listening enjoyment. It didn't matter to me how complicated, or simple, the arrangement really was. It was the feel.
Ironically, I also like some songs by 50 Cent. But I wouldn't think the social dichotomy between 50 Cent and Crimson King...would affect whether I
enjoy listening to the song.
