Ok, so to get the King Crimson Lizard page on Wikipedia, I google "Lizard" "king" "album." Up comes a bunch of Doors albums.
EDIT: listening to Islands. I want to introduce myself to a couple of their more esoteric works. So far, I'm actually really liking it.

David Bedford - The Odyssey
For those who don't know, David Bedford (now deceased) was a former band-mate of Mike Oldfield, who helped out on this album. You can hear the similarities to some of Oldfield's work; it's a little like a more classical-sounding symphonic-prog version of Oldfield, if that makes any sense.
