My band's latest jam album
Hi! We are currently working to perfect our written songs, but in the meantime, we are releasing our jams totally free.
To listen, just click the image in my signature. Let me know what you think! Thanks.

Word to the wise: read the Welcome thread. You're not allowed to advertise your own music here --- free or otherwise --- till you've been here a decent amount of time.

Ahh, my apologies, I was looking for a rule thread in the stickies (and now I see it above the fold).
Apparently you can't delete your own threads, so I'll have to wait for a mod.

y'know... I will personally allow this, assuming you're not just here to promo your stuff. Plus, your post history doesn't seem too spammy. Since you're honest about having this thing deleted, I'll take you at your honesty that you're also here to contribute. If you're not, I'll assume you're honest enough to say so upfront. If you do say that you're only really interested in promoting your band, then I will delete the thread.
Don't be sneaky.

Thank you Dali; I do intend to contribute long-term.
I don't deny that I am also interested in building a fan base, but our style is more grassroots promotion than spamming in the first place and I think contributions beyond that are a necessary obligation.

We have plenty contributing members here that post their music. The difference is that they're contributing members first, band promoters second. If you follow that strategy, you'll be fine. Just know that we're very experienced in understanding the difference here...

The client is never expected to pay for or use the product if they don't want, so there are no strings. Most times the folks I mix or master are pleased with the result, as I mainly do it for those who don't have the money to go to the pros, so we both benefit.

Thanks, much appreciated. As a hobby masterer, do you have any caveats for recording that you come across when mixing and think "I wish they wouldn't have done that..."
