Looking for original footage of "The Wall"

Does anyone know if there's any high-quality footage available somewhere online of Pink Floyd's "The Wall" during its original run?

Youtube has some gross, grainy videos but surely the majesty of "The Wall" hasn't been lost to time.

Anyone?

Do you mean the movie? Why not just buy it on DVD? Can't be very expensive these days. I used to have it on VHS, but that's another story.

Or you could buy it in HD from here ... Download movie Pink Floyd The Wall. Watch Pink Floyd The Wall online. Download Pink Floyd The Wall in HD, DVD, Divx and ipod quality. Download free movie Pink Floyd The Wall preview.

No, I've seen the movie a ton of times. I'm inquiring about actual concert footage in full.

The original tour might be pretty hard to come by. Roger waters released The Wall Live in Berlin in 1990. It's not really Pink Floyd, but there's a lot of interesting guest appearances. I'm not sure whether or not you can find it online.

Dude, that's such a bummer. All I've ever really seen is grainy footage, which is suitable and understandable but to experience it almost as it was, as the concert-goers had seen ... well, that would make me really happy. I guess maybe it's just been lost to history.

^ I recognize I'm probably the only person here who cares, but I have exactly the same feelings about Jethro Tull's Passion Play tour. I saw the tour after that (WarChild) in '74 & heard all my life about how EPIC the show was in '73. I finally saw some YouTube footage and the quality is like home 8mm with terrible sound

Before you do, if you haven't looked into torrent software, research diligently. there's some really malicious applications out there.

I just uninstalled BitTorrent (Ki used to use it on this computer and I remember it destroying the last one I had) but I'm not terribly bright or well versed on computer stuff.

best and worst torrent software - Google Search

I'd download it for you but my ISP seems to have blocked most/all of torrents for me. KAT generally is respected and you can trust them, but if in doubt check the comments section: it will tell you if the torrent is a fake or contains any viruses or spyware. I must say, in many years of torrenting I've yet to pick up anything nasty.

This one's remastered, but is an ISO

and another one

(As expected, none will download for me, sorry).

I've seen the Earl's Court show and the Nassau Coliseum show from that 1980 tour, both on VHS and online. The picture quality was about the same and I think the only copies out there are the bootlegged ones. Supposedly, Roger Waters has the original footage and won't release it because he thinks it's not good enough for a commercial release.

Here's a link to a download for the Earl's Court show...

T.U.B.E.: Pink Floyd - 1980-08-09 - Earl's Court (2xDVDfull pro-shot)

Click on the show title and it will take you to the guitars101 forum where the links are.
It's been uploaded to several different file hosting sites. Some of the links are dead but the filefactory links are still active. I haven't downloaded the show yet, so I don't know if the picture quality will be any better than what's already on YouTube.
