Twelve Foot Ninja
Twelve Foot Ninja
Progressive Rock Active since: 2008 I was given a recommendation to Twelve Foot Ninja earlier today, and I have been doing nothing but listening to them. They have a few EP's and one full length album that was released last year. It seems they are still in their early stages of their music career even though they've been active for four years. I am just hoping this band doesn't fall off the face of the earth after their one full length album, because from what I got out of it was potential for some fantastic future albums. Silent Machine is a must listen to, but their EP New Dawn is also a great place to start, as that is where I started. There's really no place you can go wrong because they only have a few albums out, so you'll probably find something you like from them with whichever you choose. I apologize for the lack of Youtube videos, but I can provide Grooveshark links for you to stream the albums: Silent Machine: http://grooveshark.com/#!/album/Silent+Machine/8430205 New Dawn: http://grooveshark.com/#!/album/New+Dawn/3425118 |

I grabbed Silent Machine after Anteater recommended it in his 2012 thread and it has been a staple in my car for the last few weeks. I haven't grabbed their EPs yet though, I may need to rectify that though.
Have you read the comic series that accompanies Silent Machine? |

Just saw these guys recently and I'm hooked! Loving Silent Machine. And I have to say they were really sweet to see live - amazing energy. You can headbang AND boogie AND slowdance all in the one gig. I met the guys after the gig (as they were just playing at my local pub) and they were really nice, too. Thumbs up from me!
Bad quality but this is the gig I saw them at: Sweet dubstep ending. And I'm somewhere in this crowd, but I won't tell you where :P |

Glad everyone's still digging TFN so much. Still kinda scary how good they are at this point so early in their career: the next record is going to be an absolute monster.

I'm under the impression they do, yes... Although they are currently busy touring, I think they are supporting Fear Factory at the moment which is a pretty huge achievement considering how "early" I guess they are in their career.
