Feeding a Musical Fidelity dual mono choke regulated amp into Monitor Audio RS8's [bi-wired]. The sound is very transparent indeed and shows up every imperfection in the vinyl, if it is second hand. Indeed Trollheart, very useful suggestion, I will try it and thankyou. The RP1 is only £230, so not top of the range, but it does a great job for the outlay.
