Queensryches' heyday was from the EP up until Operation Mind Crime , IMO. The Warning and Rage For Order
are where I came into the fold and they remain my favorites. I like Empires OK but they take on an almost Journey like ( who I can't stand ) radio friendliness at that point which Is never good. The material after Empire is tripe ....again IMO...however I do like the new one somewhat and make an exception for it & OMC II which is also OK . Interested to see what they might do next but the great material is and will remain their early recordings.. Hope they prove me wrong with the next one. |
Tate is pretty much a douche but I have no interest in hearing them without him, or DeGarmo for that matter.

last album was a 7/10 for me

The new album 'Condition Human' is a solid follow-up to 'Eponymous 2013'. The standout tracks for me are "Guardian," "Eye 9," "Toxic Remedy," and the title track. Overall I'd give it 3.5 out of five stars. If nothing else, I think it stands on its own merits. Hopefully the current incarnation of Queensryche will continue to deliver (:yeah:).

Condition: Human is pretty awesome. My favorite since Operation Mind Crime.

I found the eponymous record along with condition human to be the best albums since Empire from Queensryche. However Geoff Tate's new band (or same band as his queensryche) Operation Mindcrime had a decent album as well.

Well, I think I should give the last album a try. My favoritie album is still Operation Mindcrime!
