Default Prog rock lyrics game

Simple really: a list of lyrics and you have to say what band, album and track they're from. No restrictions: first set don't have to be solved before anyone else puts a set up, and no limit to how many sets per post you can do.

Of course you can just Google them, but REAL Proggers don't need to do that, do we?

To start off, some relatively easy ones combined with some perhaps more obscure ones....

1. "The lunatics are in the hall
The lunatics are in my hall.
The paper holds their folded faces to the floor
And every day the paper boy brings more."

2. "I'm the cyclops in the tenament, I'm the soul without a cause
Crying midst my rubber plants, ignoring beckoning walls.
Clippings from ancient newspapers lie scattered 'cross the floor
Stained by the wine from a shattered glass:
Meaningless words, yellowed by time,
Faded photos exposing pain, celluloid leeches bleeding my mind:
Christ, you're finished playing hangman
You cast the fateful dice."

3. "And so, ladies and gentlemen, we come to the nerve centre of the whole affair.
As you will see, it is a mirror.
To some it is the mirror of dreams
Where every passion, desire and action flit through the still spaces
Behind its surface. tantalising and distant.
Of these, many stand before it until death."

4. "This is an announcement from Genetic Control:
It is my sad duty to inform you of a four foot restriction on humanoid height."

5. "I'm in motion, I am still.
I am crying, I am still.
I'm together, I'm apart
I'm forever at the start.
Still, I am."

6. "Another shadow, another day
Till he drags his shadow across the sand and proudly mounts his horse.
A heart full of memories, a million bright hellos
He lays the sun across the diamonds
A blinding light that lays the path.
He tips his hat and rides."

7. "Strange how pain etches patterns on your heart
Just like frost grows on the window pane;
And cold's no elixir, the fractal's well veiled:
My eyes go black, they pierce my hands and side."

No-one? Surely they're not that hard? Or maybe no-one's interested?

OK well if there are no attempts/replies in the next few hours I'll post the answers, for any who are bothered...

"I'll blacken your Christmas and piss on your door
You'll cry out for mercy, but still there'll be more"

These should not be too difficult. All are from well-known lps.

1/ "Angels live inside me: I can feel them smile"

2/ "You can guru. You can!"

3/ "I feel her nipples at my fingertips."

4/ " left without a hope of coming home."

5/ "Mighty Mouse"

6/ "All the children look at you and smile"

7/ "waves tear me limb from limb"

8/ "paper courtesan"

9/ "My name it means nothing, my fortune is less

My future is shrouded in dark wilderness"

10/"He tries to make her afraid by not being afraid"

11/ "He took me to a little shack And put a whip across my back."

12/ "run, rabbit, run"

13 / "Get up on my cycle to the sun"

14/ "Cast your mind back to the days
into crystal balls we gazed
and the moral of the story
is so easy we cant see
Maybe youth should not be only for the young."

15/ "Don't ring for a taxi
Don't call a policeman
Don't send for a doctor he'll just give you pills
Don't hide in the cellar
Don't ever believe it
It's probably friendly, just alone like you"
