Favourite Pink Floyd album? Dark Side of The Moon but given my age I’m no longer get off my face on the chemicals it deserves. Judging by their more recent live performances, neither are they.

I saw Waters on Friday. It seems he has such hatred for Gilmour that playing songs he sang in was off limits. There were two I can remember they played - Money, Us and them. Gilmour's bits were done by one of the guitarists, who can really sing.

Given the animosity, I'll provide two answers - one for the Gilmour era, one for the Waters era.

Gilmour - Division Bell (High Hopes is one of the band's best songs, PERIOD)
Waters - The Wall

Wasn't a fan of Endless River as it really did feel like it was just a bunch of unfinished scraps, but I'm down for a new record of written material from Gilmour, no Waters isn't a dealbreaker for me, the lack of Wright however could be. Wright was such a key part of their sound that no I can't really call it Pink Floyd without him, this is clearly going to be a Gilmour record with the Floyd brand, but here's hoping it'll still be decent.

Most definitely. I was listening to the 2019 remix while on the road yesterday.

Almost 6 years after I wrote this, I finally got around to giving the entire album (The Wall) a really good listen. Several times, in fact. And indeed I was wrong, there's not much filler. In fact it's amazing how many good songs there are on the album.

I've also been listening to a bunch of other Pink Floyd and I've concluded that it's about a 3-way-tie between DSOTM, The Wall and Wish You Were Here as their best album.

But I think their very best song is Comfortably Numb. The chorus brings tears to my eyes.

they suck, sleeping aid music, brain damage, and wish you were here have their time but that's all out of a band that put out albums.
