I actually bought DSOTM today along with The Wall. Have never owned any Pink Floyd before.

Having gone through one listen of The Wall, I think if they made it a single album it would be better. Lots of fill. Granted, it's a double album and you're going to get stuff like that with a double album, but still ...

I prefer the more psychedelic sound of those albums to piper (which was still psychedelic, just in a poppier sense).
