Brought out my Placebo LPs to spin.
A bit like a Belgian version of Soft Machine.
Features the late Marc Moulin.

I might've posted about this band before, but as I can't remember where or when, you probably won't either!

They are a Korean power trio whose early albums date from 1978 so they have a pretty long discography, which unfortunately often veers away from guitar-led rock into pop. My rule of thumb for them is "the longer the song, the better it's likely to be" - a rule which is borne out by this 18-minuter:-

The Korean language looks like runes from a galaxy far far away, though for their sakes, we should hope the Koreans don't think so. Whatever the case, translations to English are pretty shakey too. The band name, for instance, appears on YouTube as San Ul Lim and also Sanulrim and the first track I posted, My Soul Lies On Silk , also turns up as Laying Silks and Satins on my Heart and Laid Carpet on My Mind, so you can choose the most surreal title and thus impress your friends.

Dream Theater perhaps? or is that too mainstream? THey are the proggiest, Metal band I know of. Still touring, still releasing new material. One of my all time favorite bands. Sometimes the musicianship/wankery gets so unreal that I just have to laugh. Its all great stuff though.

Last minute - help two german bands release their brilliant split LP of psychedelic / prog / stoner rock.
Their startnext campagn (look for interstellar smoke Mount Hush Deaf Proof on startnext) ends in less than 10 hours. Sorry I can't link as I am new here.
Not afflicted with the bands - just a fan and supporter who likes to see this getting funded and thus released.

You can listen to the whole album to be on youtube. Search for "Mount Hush & Deaf Proof "Interstellar Smoke" Split (New Full Album)"

Thanks for your consideration.

I have the first 4 Sanulim lps. Covers for the lps are all the same design basically ,but different colours.
I think the fifth is a childrens lp.
You can go to the 7th then they become unbearable.

But man what a dirty fuzz-sound! Their vaccuum tubes must have come down from heaven.

Default Hey Troll, this one's for you.

Very cool. Especially the section that starts at 11:00.

Very cool. Sounds a little like Peter Gabriel era Genesis.
