Close to the Edge on the list, but I like ELP's Karn Evil 9 and Pictures at an Exhibition.

There's no doubt in my mind, "Close to the Edge" is the ultimate epic prog song!

I agree with most of what was posted to this thread, plus I'd like to add one

TAAB is a great album IMO but it works even better as a condensed live piece, no better example than this absolute M'er F'er of a performance

I just realised this poll is over a quarter of a decade old, and still more than half the options have had zero votes. Can we have a new version of this poll with all those 'nul points' epics replaced by others?

I'm not much of a Prog fan, but I do like Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield.

Editing polls, once they've been made, is difficult unless you're a mod.

But feel free to make a new thread with a new poll.

IMO the winner of this would specifically be the Yesshows version of Gates of Delirium. This is just a monster

Too many faves on the list to pick just one. This might be a controversial suggestion, but I'd offer that "Knights in White Satin" by the Moody Blues deserves a spot.
