I picked Supper's Ready, with Starless and Close to the Edge as close seconds, followed by Gates of Delirium.

lotsa good stuff there - I picked Tubular Bells just because of its progression, virtuosity and melodicism

CTTE a second, Starless 3rd and 2112 4th, Echoes 5th, Gates of Delirium 6th Thick as Brick 7th mostly because I don't like Pt. 2 much

My favourite at the moment is Mumps .. I've fallen so deeply in love with Hatfield and the North that it's probably bordering on soppy.

Voted on the Soft Machine one. Didn't get enough attention, and I love the band.

That's a tough one to choose, but I don't you can go wrong with Pink Floyd on this choice.

Weird choice for Magma. I would have went with "Mekanik Zain" from HHai. It's basically a super condensed amazing life performance of a rearranged MDK(with added fiddle). Eighteen minute performance, powerful as all Hell.

Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.

I'll reply to your post with a quote from my first post :

Naw, I think I already voted for something. It's more just, I was curious why of all Magma songs that was the one picked since I haven't seen it as a standout. At least compared to Kontarkoz(both Part 1, and 2), Riah Sahtiaahk, etc.

It's no biggie or anything. Just more a curiosity.
