Lunatic Soul
Hi, do you know polish band Riverside?
Than you could try also Lunatic Soul and maybe you will like it. It's another project of Mariusz Duda. http://www.kscopemusic.co.uk/lunatic...oul-3900-s.jpg Lunatic Soul is the solo project of Mariusz Duda, vocalist and bassist of Polish progressive rock band Riverside. The self-titled debut was released on October 13th, 2008. For the album, he enlisted the help of several friends from different bands such as Quidam, Indukti and Riverside. In stark contrast to his main outfit, Lunatic Soul contains no electric guitars at all and can be best described as a mix of ambient and progressive elements - Duda himself calls the sound “oriental-alternative”. I will get the album definitely but because he has such a distinct voice it does sound like a mellow version of Riverside. Loving the first track though.

Yes, it is more mellow but I think it's result of no electric guitars.
I enjoy it at the same level like Riverside. |
Just checked it on progarchives. Sounds promising. Will definitely give it a try soon. Thanks.

It wasn't what I expected on the first listen, but with a couple of more spins it grew considerably on me. I'm sure I'll like it much more with a few more listens.
I think the similarity between Lunatic Soul and Steven Wilson's No-Man is quite comparable to that of Riverside and Porcupine Tree. |
Yes, with more listens I like it more and more. Some parts need more listens to like them or to feel them. I listened it more than 10 times and it is still a fun for me.
(No-Man is waiting for me, I know only some songs on Youtube, too busy for new music now.) |
Aaaa, great news for good night  :hphones:
New album Lunatic Soul II will be this year! :tramp: Quote:
